Your website (www.website.ca) illegally reproduces copyrighted content from the official website of the municipality (www.municipalwebsite.ca).
The municipal logo, as well as all images and content on the official municipal website are proprietary and are protected under Canadian proprietary laws. Any reproduction without municipal consent, licence or permission constitutes an illegal act.
The municipality hereby demands that you immediately cease and desist from reproducing or duplicating municipal content on your website. Any and all infringing information from your webpage must be removed forthwith (or by a certain date).
Should you fail to comply with this letter, the municipality will resort to all available remedies at law against you personally and/or your company (if applicable). Those may include without limitations, payment of costs, disbursements, and legal fees, as well as compensatory and punitive damages.
